Our Mission ‘Ballymena Borough Council’s Mission is to serve all citizens of the Borough through strong Civic Leadership and the innovative development and delivery of service’. Our Vision Our Vision is that when delivering our Mission we will always consider ways of ‘Developing Our Future Together’. Core Values Integrity While fulfilling our Mission and Vision we will always act with ‘Integrity’ through honesty and being accountable to our ratepayers and residents, in everything we do. Inclusiveness We will always consider ‘Inclusiveness’ and we view the promotion of Equality of Opportunity, Good Relations and Targeting Social Need, integral to all our planning and service delivery. Value for Money We will always endeavour to ensure ‘Value for Money’ through the innovative development and delivery of quality services which offer Best Value to the ratepayer by achieving an appropriate balance between economy, effectiveness and efficiency. Integration of Approach We will strive to ensure that Council remains the hub of County Antrim and the main driver for ‘Integration of Approach’ in order to help maximize development of the Borough and region. We are committed to working closely with other public bodies, the community and voluntary sector to achieve maximum benefits for the Borough and region. Sustainable Advancement We are committed to ‘Sustainable Advancement’ and we will ensure continual improvement and advancement of services, facilities and communities in an environmentally sustainable manner. We will always strive for a sustainable balance between social and economic advancement and protection of the environment.
