Warm Homes Scheme
The Warm Homes Scheme is for people who receive certain qualifying benefits and own or rent their home from a private landlord.You may be eligible for insulation and heating measures through this scheme.

Warmer Ways to Better Health
NIE Energy is offering householders who fall outside the Warm Homes criteria, a package of free loft and/or cavity wall insulation for their home to reduce heating bills.Funded by the Northern Ireland Sustainable Energy Programme, the package includes full loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, hot water tank jacket and four energy saving light bulbs and is available to the following people:
- Single person household with an income / pension less than £18,000 gross
- OR Couple or single parent family with an income / pension less than £25,000 gross
- OR Single person household / Couple with an income / pension of less than £30,000 gross AND over 70 who own their home or are a private tenant.

NIE Energy
NIE Energy offer energy saving cash backs for wall (including solid wall) and loft insulation. They also have other energy saving offers such as boiler servicing.

Energy Saving Trust
The Energy Saving Trust is a non-profit organisation that provides free and impartial advice on how you can save energy in the home, low carbon transport and renewable technologies and gives tips on saving water, waste and money.

Winter Fuel Payment
If you are aged 60 or over you may get a Winter Fuel Payment to help pay for keeping warm in winter. This can be between £125 and £400 depending on your situation. Find out if you are eligible for this payment and how to apply.

Lottery Fund
Community venues in Northern Ireland can apply to BIG's Energy Efficient Venues programme to make their venue more environmentally-friendly and energy efficient. As well as benefiting the environment, this programme will help community groups save on their heating and lighting costs.
The Carbon Trust The Carbon Trust provides specialist support to business and the public sector to help cut carbon emissions, save energy and commercialise low carbon technologies.
