On Thursday 21st January 2010 Ballymena Borough Council hosted the 12th Annual Sports Awards at The Braid -Ballymena Town Hall, Arts and Museum Centre. This annual function has celebrated and rewarded the cream of the Borough’s sporting talents over the years. The event highlights the hard work, dedication, and immense voluntary and paid workforce that provide our quality sporting opportunities within Ballymena.
The awards were honoured on the night to have so many guests, including the Mayor of Ballymena, Cllr James Currie MBE, senior representatives from Ballymena Borough Council as well as neighbouring Councils Larne and Carrick, compere for the evening Mr Jackie Fullerton, and the sponsors, nominees and the awards winners.
